Dean E. Norris, Inc. worked with McCownGordon Construction as the mechanical and plumbing contractor for Phase II at Derby High School. Work included two new additions. One was Alternative learning, which included new classrooms and offices that also served as a storm shelter for students and staff. The other addition was a multipurpose room that serves as an indoor practice facility. Dean E. Norris crews replaced two old boilers with three new high efficiency condensing boilers and also replaced two water cooled chillers. Basis Consulting Engineers was the mechanical engineer.
